Rear wishbone welded together with a gusset I made.

 

Brackets I made to mount the rear wishbone and rear end together

 

Mounted a 57' ford 9 inch rear end to the rear wishbone using those brackets. Also using a 40' front spring as a rear spring

Used a 62' bell housing that came with the 292 out of a 62' truck, just had to open up the main hole 1/4" for the input shaft on the T-5 transmission and relocate the top two holes for it to fit. The two bottom holes fit perfectly. I used a new clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing for a '68 390ci Torino. It bolted right up to the Y block flywheel .

Body on for the first time to see how everything fits. Not too happy with how it sits, going to raise the rear end and lower the front end. Rear spring isn't attached to the crossmember yet so we're going to play with the ride height. The '32 front axle is still undropped at this point.
