My name is Dale and I live in Lake Elmo Minnesota. My interest in old Fords goes back to the early sixties when my older brother took me to my first car show in Minneapolis. I am a member of MSRA and TCMAFC. My current projects are a 1929 Model A Ford Tudor and a 1932 Ford Tudor. Looking forward to participating on this site and diving into the tech articles. Thanks
Hey Dale. Congratulations, you did a proper intro! We don't always get that. Welcome to the Hamb. Looks like you've been around for a while and are hooked up with a good group up there. We'd love to see some pics of you '32 project when you have time. I couldn't open your pics for some reason. Sounds like your havin fun and headed in the right direction. Tim (PM'd ya).
Yes, Ron was my brother. I had really hoped to spend more time with him on cars after I retired. Waited too long
@Dale Young Welcome from Oregon, you will enjoy this place. Wow, Lake Elmo, I see you're not too far from HAMB Lake
The cars look great! Is the A a four banger? It sure is clean and detailed. You have plenty of cool tools and equipment to do the '32 with also. Have fun!!
Hi Tim, the A is a 4 banger. I bought this as an unfinished project and as is often the case required more than I thought. Just starting on the interior now. I would love to redo the engine with inserts and banger speed equipment. The problem is hopefully a deal I'm working on for a coupe will work out and then I would be selling this one. I also want to get it a little bit lower. Have found great posts here to do that.
Welcome Dale! Great projects. I met you at Ron's wake, he is missed. Good to see Harold's Speed Shop is still going. Todd
Hi Todd! I do remember you. Ron got quite a chick out of Harold's Speed Shop. I would love to at some point build a bucket in recognition of Ron and Dad
