Well, that thread got screwed up.. So will start over.... I went ahead and put a gear drive in my '63 Chevy. See previous thread on my considering it.. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/sbc-gear-drive.1001424/ Due to a very generous offer from a HAMB member I went ahead and put one in.. Love it...and no excess noise at 55-60 at all.. I did insulate the inside firewall as well as front floorboards with a really great insulation material. I am very pleased, and as I have said before at (72) years old I am not interested in impressing anyone but myself...which I have done with this... Also dropped the front end down 1 1/2" which the picture shows. I am very pleased, and a huge THANK you to the fellow HAMB member.. I promise to pass on that KARMA.. View attachment 3113210
You could have just added this info onto the end of your other thread. Or if your feelings were all hurt, just not bothered. The car looks good.

I did exactly that, but as stated in my first paragraph that got all screwed up (not blaming the Forum, just wouldn't work) Glad to see you are on the ball....It seems that the best four years of your life were in the sixth grade However, thanks for the compliment on my car.......
Hey, I like your car, but I'm not sure what you mean about screwed up When I looked at your other thread it seems to me like it is still open for comment. Maybe it had to do with the problems the Hamb was having over the past week. I was on the ball, maybe it was you who dropped the ball. Maybe you didn't even make the sixth grade. No need to be jealous of those of us who did
Like the stance, good looking car. I read half the other gear drive thread when it was happening and gave up, glad you're happy with it.
