O no..... has anyone got any photos of the subframe and what it should look like ? Is it part of the timber floor ? Cheers Murf
I have these photos of my project. Wood stretches from firewall supports to front of rear seat. Under the rear seat it is a stamped steel plate that curves up over the frame kick up
Thank you very much Gearhead. Now I can see what I have to do. Much appreciated. Murf............... p.s I can see now why I have no subfloor. It ain't so bad I'm a carpenter
THANK YOU to all the folks who stopped by to see the ’32 sedan in the Suede Palace! Having the car in this legendary building was a fantastic experience. Wish I had a bit more time to spend answering questions, but I was also working the whole weekend. Sunday saw torrential rain, but weather somewhat improved as I drove back home. Well… the issue was the wind, really… MAJOR wind! But the ’32 drives very well on those Excelsior tires. Special Thanks to my friends Philippe Danh (Hot Rod Magazine "alumnus") for being my “Uber” driver on Thursday evening and Sunday morning; and Charles at Vintage V8 Restoration for the excellent job on the ’32
