    I remember hearing my mom talking about how they learned the difference between Fords and Chevy's by the wood content. Kept them from freezing to death in South Dakota in the 30/40's.

  4. As for the train tracks through the streets, it seems that was pretty common, particularly in the crowded East. Seems uh......dangerous? I mean, what could happen?
