Projects beautiful Edsel in Ottumwa

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by porknbeaner, Jan 28, 2016.

  1. OK the missus sent me this link, it is not my car, I don't know who's car it is and we don't have extra cash so I thought I would pass it on to you fellas.

Edsels are cool cars, they were not long lived as car makes go but they were just cool. So if you are an Edsel lover or need another project or just like to look here ya go.

Too bad 'MissPrint' isn't still here, she'd be all over it. You remember her*******? she was the one that stripped all the paint to bare metal off her Edsel with razor blades! Neat gal.

Years ago, if I remember correctly, there was a guy on Truman Rd that was hoarding Edsels?

Hey Porknbeaner ,I have a neighbor that has one of about all of the Edsel's been collecting them for years. He doesn't just have projects, alot of them are restored or nice survivors.

  9. Yea I don't remember his name but I saw a few of them a time or two.

They were nice cars, or are. They had a glitch or two but the worse thing I have ever heard about them was the push*****on*******. They did have very nice styling and I cannot for the life of me think of why the custom community never really embraced them. There have been some customized but not like you would think there would have been.
