I have these negatives and wondered if anybody has information on this car. It's a 1971 dodge demon that looks like a real street terror!! As you can see, this looks like a fresh build. Any info would be much appreciated!
Grand Spaulding dodge when it was a used car dealership. Same location, but the dealership hadn't been built yet
yes the body got a crack in it so they covered it up with a stripe. the one pick looks like don or roy gay with norm.
I've seen different pics of the charger body showing damage in different areas, those bodies took a beating and got repaired a lot.
its amazing how much they were able to accomplish with what they had. the factory teams received all the updated parts first. norm pressed hard for a awb car. he was told then all the dealers would want one. first they built their own in the form of a sedan. then got the hand me down lindamood car. the rest is history. hands down the number one car of 65.
the body looks like its sitting at a motel parking lot. the trans was probable out of the car getting rebuilt in the bathtub while the heads were getting serviced on the bed. when your on the road you have to make due.
That would have been a fun lifestyle to live back then when it all started to take shape! So what do you think the story is behind the white demon on the shop?
Street Terror, plain and simple. Steelies, caps, only problem, hood scoop, big give away...I've never seen it, but just from the looks, killer.
I sent Gary an email and haven't heard back, this car is intriguing seeing all the stuff they did with the demons
Performance was a part of the buffalo grove store. This direct connection catalog is stamped with that dealer ships name on it. Some of the ink has worn off but it is there.
