Event Coverage Jalopy Showdown 2016 date?

I know that Larry does Facebook (and I don't......yet) and I'm sure he has a life other than producing shows but, I was just trying to plan ahead and hoping he was still having a 2016 issue of the Showdown. I know it's always been the third Sat. in May but somewhere I thought I saw the 14th mentioned. We all love the event, love the museum, and heck, we love you as well, Larry. Please post on here and let us know what's up with this year. If this has been addressed in another thread, I'm sorry.............................Don.

Thanks a bunch, 40LUV, the 3rd Sat. makes sense. Always a fun affair. Can't wait, hope the weather is good.

 

OK Don, lets get that scenic route picked out. Sounds like an early morning road trip.

 

I usually go up 32 like we went to Jalopyrama, but go right at the Royal Farms onto 91, blast over to Md. Rt. 30 North, it becomes Pa. 94, follow through Hanover to Rt.15 North, Rt. 15 for about 5 miles to right into Latimore Valley Fairgrounds.........edit: That may only be about 3 miles, whatever the distance from the York Springs exit off of Rt.15 to the entrance to the fairgrounds.

 

THat sounds like a sweet way to go. Looking forward to this year as I missed last years show...

 

............I try to take the more scenic route whenever possible.

 

I may be heading that direction Via 301, I hate the potholes in the roadster going up through DC.

 

In general the ride is as fun as the event. Not knocking this show, Larry puts on some of the best events in the North East.

 

Its hard to take it all in at WOT.

 

Should be a great event as usual! I'll be there ripping around the track!

Likely pretty early but it's way too soon to tell. We'll stay in touch as time gets closer.
