They are Rocket Racing 5 spoke 15x10s. I want 15x4.5 cragar ss skinnys for up front, because I'm a broke 19yr old who cant afford magnesium wheels. LOL

  2. Well take your time and don't lose interest, even us old guys don't have a lot of money, we do it for the fun and pleasure, before you know it things will start coming around, it's good to see a younger guy interested in what we all grew up doing. Hang in there.

Got a little more done today on it. Installed the water pump, bottom pulley, and threw an intake on for ****s and giggles. Tomorrow I'm going to work on the Z-bar for the clutch.

So little project update. Tonight m going to my storage spot with all my car junk in it to get my crower injection, and some other odds and ends.

Also I had gotten through some trading a set of 15x4.5 cragar skinnys for the front.

Got my tubing to make my crossmember for the 4spd. Aswell pics will come later on

You had me all the way up to the 400 turbo..... Put a manual trans in it. It'll make it a whole lot more fun!

There you go. That's what I'm putting in my 57. Is this gonna be strictly a drag car?

No its gonna be street driven also. But a Jerico hasn't stopped me from driveing on the street. People give me a weird look when I tell them it has a Jerico in it and I drive it to the local show. I had one in my 69 belair also. And I sold few months back then I bought dad's off of him lol.

Love that crower injection myself haha. And believe it or not this car was straight axeled at one time in its life then converted back to stock. I can see where the front rails was welded back together. And if I do straight axel it I'd like to keep a little lower not so high up front.

If you cut the '69 Corvette L88 scoop out of the front end in one piece you may be able to sell it. Have the same scoop on my Vega where it looks more correct than on a '57.

If it was up to me I would have just run the stock flat hood. I don't dig the l88 scoop at all.

For what it's worth, don't run that front Hurst mount and a turbo 400 tailshaft mount only you WILL crack the the ****** case. Either run side mounts or a mid motor plate to prevent this from happening. Interesting build, I'm following along with building my own 57 2dr.sed.
