Eesh! No offense but enough with the Cameros. There's a cut off date of 1965 on the HAMB. The other pics are sweet, especially the altereds.

    Lecture over. Carry on.

  14. The Columbia River Highway as it looked to motorists as they approached Oneonta Gorge after being moved to the abandoned railroad bed (the Oneonta Tunnel is shown filled in here and has been re-opened to pedestrian traffic). In 1948 the railroad saw an opportunity to end its worries about rock falls by the tunnel by moving its track north of the cliff on fill dredged from the Columbia River.

I took the family on a vacation and we drove to the top of Mount Washington and on the way back down the brakes started to overheat and my wife was holding the dashboard so tight she left her finger nail impressions in it!!!

Driving to the top was the easy part coming back down is a little scary at times.
It was 72 degrees at the bottom of the mountain and 28 degrees and totally fogged in at the top of the mountain.

We all had on tee shirts and shorts so the stay at the top was very short.
