Hamtown Al: Funny you should mention that, I took my camera and fired it up and went to take the first picture and the out of memory sign flashed. Also I never carry a phone.

^^^^ Funny how the best laid plans...
ATTABOY! for at least making an attempt. Now, back to the dang instruction manual for the camera, wherever that is!, to figure out how to delete just a few pictures!;)
Remember, if at first you don't succeed...
    All the best,
    Al
PS Not carrying a phone can help keep a more peaceful setting but there is the chance that you'll miss a call with a tip on an all steel 3 window that won't last long! Of course, with YOUR contacts, you probably don't need to wait for a call!:D

  3. WELL I CHECKED THE HEADLIGHTS ON BOTH MY DEUCE SEDAN AND ROADSTER AND THEY ARE BOTH 15.5 INCHES FROM THE GROUND TO THE BOTTOM OF THE LIGHT.
THE 3 WINDOW LIGHTS SET 15 INCHES FROM THE GROUND.
I HAVE LOGED OVER 50K MILES IN THE SEDAN & ROADSTER AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS GETTING STOPPED FOR THEM BEING TO LOW.
    THANKS FOR YOUR CONCERN THOUGH....

    Great looking interior !

Can you share who did it?

  10. OK guys. I had Dougs interiors out in Scottsbluff, Ne. do the home made seat for me that I made from some great patterns that a fellow HAMB member sent me. I drew up what I wanted and it turned out fantastic. The door panels & kick panels also are my design. I made them from 32000 alum. and had Hartzel interiors in Aurora sew them up for me. The floor covering and all the stainless trim work I done my self.
    Thanks for the approval.

Is that a spare key dangling from the right kick panel?

Here are a couple shots of the finished car minus water, and fuel. Its first public display at a show this weekend. Enjoy! You should be proud, Dennis. IMG_1456.jpg IMG_1458.jpg IMG_1459.jpg

Dennis's car was a great addition to our 43 annual show. Dennis spent the weekend with the car answering lots of questions and explaining the car . As a result he received the Sportsmanship trophy which goes to the participant that we felt did the best job of representing their car. Good Job Dennis.

  24. Well I have to say I was totally caught off base with receiving this award. But after talking to krylon32 I was very pumped to say the least. Hell I just thought all of us true hot rodders that do most of our own work on are cars liked talking about them...So no big deal...right? Living in a very small town of 300 I don't get a lot of visitors stopping by or did I while this build was on going. So the chance to tell all that ask about it was a blast to me. As you all can tell this is not your every day street rod and that was my target. Build something a little off the chart from the rest. I like the out come and for everyone that does not get it that's OK with me.

Denny I can't get Bones to go to anything that Tri Cities puts on. He has a hard on for them and has a memory like an old elephant. I can't change his, but he is and always will be a best friend

    Hard work IS rewarding.... IMG_1463.jpg

  27. Well I was hoping to be driving the 3 window this weekend, but the wiring grimlins have taken up home in my turn lights. Been chasing the problem for 2 days now and still not working.
Got a good friend coming over tomorrow afternoon and give me a hand.
Did I ever tell you that wiring is not my cup of tea?

Wiring is the reason most projects never see the road, mine won't. Bob

  29. WE HAVE TURN LIGHTS.........After a shit pot full of checking everything under the sun out on the dam turn lights it came down to the LED tail lights....When I would put a load on them with my test light, they would work. With out it, no worky.....I was using the elec. flasher as they say you need this due to the LED lights not drawing enough amps. But this still did not draw enough for the lights to trip the flasher. So I installed another blub to the front turn signals and tied it in the system and just stuck it inside each headlight bucket....Low and behold I have turn lights.
All this done before my friend showed up, so I called and told him I got it.
Now to put all the wiring back in it's proper place as it looks like shit under there right now. Why is wiring so dam hard?????????

LED lights can cause all kinds of problems, thy just don't draw enough to make the flasher work. Glad you found the problem
