Found a pic of my buddy's chevy II from high school. Full tilt 11:1 327, 4 speed, etc... We replaced the front clip and "customized" it. We painted it shortly after. We wrote something clever in the flames but for the life of us we can't remember what it was. We thought about drinking a crapload of Oly again to see if it would help, but decided against that. Thought you guys would like like it.
If we are not careful this could become a flame fest. I believe that they are black on the front fender and keeping in mind it was a high school car and maybe the first attempt.
Uh it was? rattle can and masking tape would be my guess and I saw a lot of that when I was in high school I am afraid to admit. If you look only in magazines all cars had perfect paint, but if you look in old photo albums you see that most cars were not really that refined.
I'm afraid the "customized" part didn't come through in my original post. PnBeaner got it. We did paint it for real ( no flames) the next summer. We were just dicking around. I do wish we could remember what we wrote in the bulky part toward the rear of the fender. Prolly not as funny as when we were 17-18.
