    Thanks fellas!

Fitnessguy here is a picture of the trunk area. I would not really call it finished. The whole car actually needs to come apart for final fit and nice paint. I put the filler on the outside because on our road trips I can't pass a gas station without having to fill up. It gets pretty crappy mpg. It's just easier without having to get into the trunk all the time.

I love your roadster. I think I said that earlier in this thread, but I felt the need to say it again!

    Thank you.
It will be getting a few changes .. Tucking the rear wheels closer to the body, 36 wishbone four link rear, getting rid of the tube shocks up front , and relocating the steering box to get rid of the cross steer. And a top of coarse.

Thanks Mike. I think I am going to have to make one though. Between the windshield chop and lay back plus where my head sits, i don't think anything other than fabed would work or look good.

Thanks for sending the pic of the trunk. Here's where I'm at with mine so far. Still some deciding to do on the battery position and finishing. Will be in the shop on Sunday working on it as a matter of fact! How many gallons is your tank? ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1456458021.754796.jpg

Thanks, is there a reason for that?

Why all the planned changes? The car looks pretty good to me as it is.

Fitnessguy - the tank is 14 gallons. It looks like you have a bit more room in your trunk. You can run two of those little battery's and hide them behind the seat or maybe drop them in that structure you built?

Blue One- The reason is well because they sent me 4 rear tubes and I did not want to wait. A friend of mine never runs tubes (even in bias) in his cars and he seems to have less trouble with shake and ride quality. So I fugured what the hell. So far so good and the car drives straight and no shake even at 90 mph.

Missysdad1 - just trying to dial in all the stuff I had planned for it originally. It was always the plan, but once we hit the key for the first start up its been kinda hard to find the time to take it apart. Even the clutch change was a rough two days for me to have it in pieces.

    Thanks Jimmy.

Brady, I was just trying to keep up with traffic on the 202.... Well maybe it was a bunch of hot rod traffic... And maybe I was in front.

Do not understand "last ride of the summer"? Is it too hot to enjoy Roadster in the summer in AZ? If so that is a bummer. Oh and by the way that car is GORGEOUS!!!

No Brady that is Doug's 36. I wish it was mine.

Woodhawg yep it's getting really warm here. My car does not have a top so I tend to cook in it.

Oh now I get it. Too HOT, not too cold! Never thought of that. Bummer. In GA we stay away from day driving about 4-6 weeks in late July until early Sept. Am having my rag top built as I write this. But we top out at high 90's and always cool off to the 70's even in August.
