It doesn't matter if they do or don't exist, the fact is newer pictures are NOT allowed on this SITE. I like some of your pictures, but you continue to not follow the rules which will either
    a. Get you banned or b. Get this thread banned. Please just stop with the new stuff, it's not that big of a deal, except you are making a battle for some reason. Champion some other cause that does not kill this great thread for us.

Why would you ask us to help you leave and (possibly) bad mouth our gangs' reasonable expectations. I for one love (most) of what you have submitted, just need to proof your photos before submitting them.
Again, I try to scan the background for "giveaways".

I've met Jer and I highly doubt he would bad mouth this place.

  4. WE don't have to direct you anywhere, why would we. YOU came here, agreed to follow the rules, but you don't. Google whatever it is you want, or start your own site. Don't like it? Too bad. WE LIKE THE HAMB the way it is, DO NOT ruin it for us!
Last word, from now on I'll "report" your OT pics.

Appreciate the reasonable replies. Nobody wants to get banned, and I care. I think for the amount of postings, I'm doin' pretty darn good. If you knew how many pics I have deleted from my folders you would feel very good about "things".

Then I made a mistake, that is very different than deliberately flaunting the rules.
How many contributions have you made to keep this thread alive?
    My last word on this.

Always hate to see guys who are racers fighting with each other.
This is a great site lets see if maybe we can all agree to disagree from time to time.

I'm one of the older guys here that can identify a drag strip location based on nothing more than a power pole, fence or other seemingly standard, unimportant background object. Not everyone was lucky, like me, to "be there" in Southern California in the late 1950's through the fabulous 60's.
I think that we need to thank each other for keeping this thread alive and very interesting for many years.
I'm pretty sure that no one intentionally is trying to "break the rules" or piss anyone off.
The fact is there's many people who aren't able to catch each and every "clue" that a photo was taken outside of the rules date guidelines.
This is a site to share, spark conversations and rekindle memories. It's a gift. It's a wonderful place to check out each day to get some new eye-candy to break the clamor and sometimes depressing events that clutter our lives with the reality of a pretty ugly world that we are surrounded by.
Let's keep this place alive and well so we can continue to enjoy some happy and interesting images and the occasional interaction between members about the golden years of drag racing.
Nobody is intentionally trying to ruin this thread.
This is all about the "golden years" and the fact that those days were unbelievable and crazy times that will never be duplicated again.
If anyone isn't quite sure if a photo is withing the guidelines maybe they can post it with the request that others verify it's correct time frame. If one of us buzzards says "nope, wrong era", then the poster could delete it. Nothing wrong with asking a question is there?
There's only a handful of people keeping this thread alive and let's not piss anyone off that is working hard to keep the thread something worth checking out each and every day.

Trying to decide. New or old? The oil slung inside the blower pulley makes me think ''old'' 12764440_1109223592432162_8155078043586683297_o.jpg

That's Tex Randall's top fueler at Aquasco Speedway in 1965. He lost his life in that car.

Could not have put it out there better than your whole post right here.
If for whatever reason that this thread (could) be closed, it would for sure be the end of an era here. As you said; it has become one of the go-to threads for a big bunch of HAMBr's.
Not just for entertainment value either, what you and Dean Lowe do for this thread keeps history accurate, (cuz you guys were there) a hard thing to do on the internet with so much speculation, plus second and thirdhand interpretations and inaccuracies.
    Gotta keep it real.
May the DCIMPT live a long life!
