Hey Mike, how she running on gas?

 

Just a little stumble off the hit, I need to lean out the barrel valve, then it should be good. It's nice to go in the garage, turn the motor over about 4 times and it fires. No crazy alcohol maintenance of oil wash down. I put fuel scent in it so it smells like rootbeer, I hate the smell of 91

 

AH the good old days of smelling Sunoco 260 when filling the tank.

That took me about 4 hours to tape off and another 4-6 to paint, but I like the way it came out

 

Back at the March Meet

 

Hey Mike
Did they get a new tower built, any photos of it. Can't find any updates on the internet.
I've ventured to Bako for many CHRR's and only one March Meet, and when I read about the fire, my heart just sank. Tragic for a place as storied as Famoso.
BTW, that wheels-up shot is very cool!

 

The tower is back up and running, I'll try and and post a few pictures later today. They are about to start A/Fuel test runs!

That Falcar appears to be working quite well, finally enjoying all your hard work I bet.
I guess I may have to steal one of those shots for my shop wall.
Might have to move some Nova and 32 stuff around but I'm, flexible!
I might even spend some $$$ on a frame!
BTW, how is the new tower working?

 

Thanks DDDeny, each race it gets a little better, I'm not the fastest or most expensive, but we sure have fun running it. I'd be honored to have my car hanging on a shop wall, especially if it causes a Chevy to move lol

 

Will you be attending Meltdown 2016?

 

I can't afford to go all the way to Illinois, but it does sound like fun
