He has moved his tread to a blog of his own . I don't know how to put the address on here but I'm sure there is someone in the forum does . It's called a new twist on a 47 ford Coe .

Isn't the reason he started a blog because they locked this thread? I've checked out the blog. For me, on my phone, it's hard to navigate. It just seems that the progress should be posted here. Maybe he's waiting for an apology.....

When he was shut down here, he started the blog. There is no need to post in two places. If I were shut down, I would do the same. I am just real happy that he is still sharing the progress somewhere

Just wanted to say thanks to all you guys for your interest in our project and the blog. I have no hard feeling over the closure of the thread. I just moved it to a blog so that people could continue to enjoy the rest of the build. I would love to post here too, but it is very time consuming to post in two different places. Posting pictures takes a long time and I do like to post a lot of them. The only down fall is that I do miss all the interaction with the folks on the HAMB. Maybe I will try to post some of the build pictures here in the future. I do have more updates that I need to post to the blog, just not enough time in the day to get everything done. Happy New Years and hopefully we will be able to have a finish product in 2016 for you all.

  6. One thing I've looked for on the blog (via my phone) but cannot seem to find are pics / info on the engine & a concept or drawing of what the completed project is intended to look like.

Using a PC is almost a must to see the blog and all that has been do***ented. I was checking it out last night again and gotta say this is one of the best builds I have seen especially because of the small crew making it happen. It just bugs me that it isn't here on the HAMB... I guess I have to let that go..... The way Google formats the blog in chapters always keeps me guessing if I skipped over something. I can't tell if I'm reading posts in order where the HAMB layout is easy to follow. I guess I shouldn't be grumbling, at least the Coe lovers are free to express themselves in their own little closet of the HAMB. Thanks to all who lobbied to make that a reality!!

Gotta say, I don't blame Doughboy for not posting on both. I've often thought about copying his photos and text over to this thread for him, I just really don't have the time.

If I get the chance, would that be okay with you Doughboy? I know a lot of guys would like to see what you're doing here too.

Sure that's fine with me. I would have done it myself but every time I try it says that the file is to big. Haven't had time to figure it out.

  15. No need to go behind the cab with the motor. I moved my small block back just behind the front cross member & dropped it way low in my P30 frame, keeping it under the cab were it belongs. Everything above the valve covers are in the cab, but under the original bench seat frame. I am able to use the original floor panels with most of the original small hump in the middle, from the front of the seat forward.
Here is something to think about before it's to late. Put the cab on a sub-frame & make it a tilt cab. It will be so much easier to service the motor/everything up front...

Have you guys looked at the doughboy's blog lately? I check it every few weeks and the latest blew my mind. The work on the bed/box is wild. I wonder where he is located, I want to try a piece of his pizza....soon.

Thanks for all the great comments. Haven’t been on the site for awhile so I just saw the posts. Had a little set back while doing the cut and buff. Had a issue with some sanding marks in the paint around the body lines. Sanded through the clear while trying to fix the problem. We’ll have to re- clear the whole box again. Hopefully we can have it done by the end of Nov.
