    They started drinking that morning. Was about dark when they drove straight off a curve. It rolled several times. They walked back up onto the curve and hitched a ride to Stockton Mo. Happened in the late 50's

  13. Instead of two brake calipers on the two rear wheels had the BRM P48 a central disc brake, the offset by 90 degrees was installed in the rear.

    Man, did that have me scratching my head there for a minute.
    Wonder if they got the idea from the old Chrysler drum e-brake on the trans tailshaft as an idea for braking use. I really have tired of this saying but I think it applies here:
    "That's thinking outside the box".
