Great job on the Vicky! I would love to have one just like it for real. I have that model not built, You have inspired me to build it. Now to fine the time. Thanks Ron...
Well its Sunday already , that was a fast week. How many of you remember the ZINGER models? As a kid growing up I Loved Big Daddy Roth. I drew The Gasser style RODS with the larger then life mills with BIG tires and smoke. So when M.P.C. released the ZINGERS I had to build them. But I was one, who usually never builds them the way they came, or use the directions . So I will post some pictures of some I built over 40 years ago. Thanks Ron...
Here's my this week's paintwork. From Tue eve's pistasche-green&mask-off into Sat Night's Jade-green metallic. Clearcoat yet to come. -Inspiration came from Sweden's finest '56 Crown Victoria in the last image. (-owner&photo credit unknown on that one, all I can tell is it's beautiful!!!-)
Its a early 2000s AMT coupe only kit with the early version roadster parts, after getting the roadster parts I found out the recent release has them. That coupe kit had the top and glass for the roadster plus some of the other optional parts but no cowl or windshield frame or fender skirts and only mentions the coupe in the instructions.
Dang! that's so KOOL. I fill stupide posting my junk on here. I'm not in the same league as you Guys. But thanks for the postings. I can't wait until Sunday to see them. Ron...
Great job! nice detail, and perfect paint. You did the owner of the real one proud. How much are models in Finland ?
this is how I display my Hot Wheels in my shop. I go to the hardware store and get these clear plastic fluorescent light tube protectors , then I tape my Hot Wheels to the track and slide it in. Then with a quick spray of glass cleaner, and one big wipe they're all spotless. perfect for a Dusty shop like mine.
I was thinking about that magazine just recently. I had it when I was a kid but couldn't recall the exact year.
I will do one more post for this Sunday. I was kinda hoping for some pictures of the Roth style models. Like the Zingers and Nutty Mads. They were just fun to build as a kid. I enjoy the serious builds the best. But it was fun growing up with these silly models too. Ron...
