Miss Big Go South 1963 holds the gold in front of Dave Smith's North Miami-based B/Dragster. Smith went five rounds to win class at Indy in 1965 with this Lynwood Chassis car. Note long, sweeping headers and bell-ends.

Car owner Rich Guasco, left, and driver Dale Emery were joined in the winner’s circle by Linda Vaughn after one of their many AA/FA victories with the Pure Hell roadster. This was the early version of the car equipped with a blown small-block Chevy.
