Things get to sounding pretty cut-throat on here at times, but there isn't a guy on this thread who wouldn't give you the shirt off his back.

Deuced that was very well played.

I won't ever forget breaking those spring perches and then everything else. The best part is that I actually laughed a few times in the car while being pushed back because we all just do this for fun and you can't take it too serious. You then just fix it and get back out there.

I am getting excited that in two weeks I am taking the motor and trans out so that I can get the trans fixed (from last year's issue).

Yes the tubes would take off a few, will make changes when my slicks are used up. Sucks that American dont
    make a custom backspaced wheel, might get away with a 9 x 30 with a 4 1/2 backspaced 8" American .

    Will a 9" slick hook for a 1.5 60 ft. I dont know ?

Lots of stock class cars run a 9" slick I believe.
I'm going to run one just for clearance .

Have you tried ET wheels Norb?I think they do custom offset.

Also,PS engineering do REALLY nice torq thrust style wheels that are nicer than Americans.

  22. American does custom backspacing... I'll see if I can forward the info to you.

Sent from my LG-LS980 using H.A.M.B. mobile app

Some class limit the slicks to 9" and stand their cars on end with 1 .3 sixty footers! Yes there is a lot of vht track adhesive!

Any one have any experience with H3R - Halguard Clean Agent Fire Extinguishers?
This is what they say: HalGuard premium fire extinguishers contain a clean extinguishing agent that turns into a gas and quickly attacks fires involving 1) flammable liquids without leaving any residue and 2) electrical equipment without the risk of shock.

I think we all know that is not out of the realm of possibility...but in an attempt to both get an answer AND put this threads rhetoric back in gear lets just say I want to be ready to help when one of these cars in the other lane goes pop! LOL... But seriously, anyone used this stuff.

  27. I have not used the one I carry in my Sedan Delivery - its always on hand close by when we are pushing a FED. Hate the dust extinguishers  that stuff will burn your lungs for hours and makes a mess of your engine to boot. So - no have not used it but Tudor always says "If I'm on fire shoot me with whatever you have!"
