So 2" step and a t spring should give about 5-6" drop in the rear? Also noticed your not boxing even with the ohv motor. Just curious on the thinking there.

Yeah, it's about a 2.5" step and the t-spring should offer around 5 more inches... Keith set up the stance so that it sits low enough to really tuck the tires into the fenders. That's the idea anyway.

As for boxing the frame, We both prefer the look of an unboxed frame and if you aren't going to be making a ton of horsepower it's not really an issue at all.

    Minty fresh brakes out back:

Note smart little notch to aid in brake line clearance:

I predict that fresh 327 arriving next week ain't gonna be no slouch. This sweet chassi should hang just fine.

  6. Looking good man, I can't wait to see the stance. And, Blue Bear concurs with your non-boxed frame.

How about a time lapse of Keith working? From a high vantage point would be good.

Forgive my ignorance here but how much does something like this build go for? Ballpark?

This car is sold, so it wouldn't be appropriate for me to say.

Does that hardline from the drivers front to the passenger front run under the cross member? I'm always curious of how people route hard lines

This is turning into a clinic on how to build a hotrod.

  27. Seems to me it wasn't appropriate to ask the question.

  28. NICE!!
Any chance you could snag a part # for those long front flex lines? My parts guy says he can make them up, but that spooks me!
    Thanks!

46-48 ford car lines fit real nice too.
