I agree. Kind of backwards. Lol.
Luckily the gap still looks good.

This is what true customizing is all about. I dig it.
You are a man after my own heart Eric. In the process of spliting the rear fenders on my custom and taking out 1-1/2 inches in width. Got to do what looks right.

They sure look nice on John Kouw's sectioned 'vert!

But, Hey! How about rear quarters, too!
(Then call it "CLASS! of '54". :D)

I've always wondered what one of those scoops would look like on a shoebox. Looks badass. Thought about doing something similar on my 50 Chevy...

  22. I don't usually like sectioned shoeboxes but that one is sweeet. Nailed the proportions.

  24. Nice. More toned-down than the stock '54 scoop, so it doesn't interrupt the flow of the hood. Great work.

I think Ive said this before, but a Kaiser front plate over rider would look perfect with the grill and scoop

Eric. What width are your white walls? 3 inch or 3.25?
    Thanks

I'm not sure. They are an old set that I bought used. I have a new set of Firestone 3.25 to go on after paint.

Thanks for the reply Eric. Love everything about this build and I really like the Maroon paint that you will be using.
