Another little batch from various sources - and I promise no more airplanes.
Petaluma, CA 1961 (OK, this car got hit by an airplane :p):

Kansas, 1958 (OK, it's on the ramp at Forbes AFB but again no airplanes):

Ohio, 1930-something (can't quite read the date on the plate):

"OK, Private Snafu, I want this car washed and waxed on the double for my date with the general's daughter!" :(
    More fuzzy memories to come.

  11. Interesting that the car got the blame, and being a 1933 Buick it was only about 20 years old.

Hers is 'cripbcritter's' Impala convertible in context with airplanes. Funny thing I found this this AM on a warbird site and thought it would fit in here.

Only two pre production Rebels were built with the FI system. They were never released to the public due to cold weather start issues.

I think the most entertaining time for by buddies is when they "suckered" me into trying to jump a ditch with my Vespa, they had Honda dirt bikes (late 60's), looked easy enough.
I found out the hard way that no matter how much of a run you have at it or how hard you "gas it", Vespas do not lift the front tire. Was not a pretty sight!
