I just think the pic is so cool too ...I got to wondering why my grandmother was always taking pics of my mom's boyfriends??....I can just see her still, peeking with a camera, pushing her glasses up on her nose, and mumbling about them ''hooligans'' while adjusting her camera behind the curtains! It's funny to me....but, I'm glad she took a few pics...they mean a lot to me now

 

Is this a dragster at a sports car race or sports cars at a drag race? Interesting mix of the two. I really love this photo

I would have LOVED to have seen (& heard) this run down the lane!!! very cool!!

 

I'm beginning to think it's a photochop. The cog belt is missing on the rear two engines.

1956 Chrysler with NASCAR mandated air cleaners. Powered Tim Flock in the Kiehaefer Mercury outboard motor entry. Dominated in 1955-1956 and was gone in 1957...

 

Headlight fluid must have been pretty expensive...

 

Totally fake Photoshop. This car had ONE engine, rules were ALWAYS no more than two motors.
Unless this car had the rare "run blower drive horizontally through the magneto" setup.

 

This is one GIANT trophy! Anybody recognize it?
