Anyone care to see the 1935 coupe body I just snagged this weekend on the way home from Autorama? It will be chopped, dropped, hammered, channeled, wedge sectioned and all that FANCY shit...and painted...no "patina" here, sorry.

Its rough, but, perfect for my plans...anyone care to see...if so I will go get some pics with the digital camera

here it is, all the pics I can muster up for now. I have a MINT hood and sides. Good rear fenders and a rough grille as well.

Like I said, its perfect for the plans I have, I am pretty stoked, a project of my OWN again, not for someone else.

  8. If you don't mind, what are your plans for the '35? :)

I knew a guy from Escalon (5-8 miles north of town) with a primered grey '35. I got to ride in it, and check it out about 10 years back. It had no glass, a front bench seat with a blanket thrown over it.

If my memory serves me right he's had that car about 25 years now as of '06, and he said shortly after getting it, he primered it, lowered the car, and has been driving it like that ever since. :)

The last time I saw it was about a year or so ago heading the other direction, and he was still driving the '35, but it now was painted flat black with flames.

I've got one too (had it for 9 years so far). Great car. Good grilles are hard to find or really expensive though. I want to chop mine next year just to make it different. Keep posting your progress....

It will probably be more traditional "street rod"...NO BILLET

Chop 2" in top, 1 1/2" wedge section, channeled 2", grille laided back 1", new aluminum 3 pc hood and sides, SMOOOOOOTH, 16" and 17" steelies, new vendetta frame with my own IFS based on Must II, 9" Ford rear on leafs and new vendetta grille (yes we now offer a 35 ford grille). All powered by a small block ford, and a manual gear box

Good lines, wicked stance = one tasteful ride...

    Simple and refined...and DRIVEN :D

If I ever get time to work on this car between customers rides...ha...I will make time though..

Oh one more thing...it will be PAINTED top and bottom, and full interior...NO "PATINA"....I prefer to earn the rust on my rides...
