My grandpa & aunt near Brookings, Oregon....about 1940....grandpa was a logger, and hardly EVER took time off...but when he did, he loved to drive to the coast and 'breathe the air' he used to say....I sure so miss him!

 

Wait a minute! No one cutting others off while yakking / yelling into a cell phone while texting at the same time as sucking down a double something-or-other latte while shaving and applying makeup? No road rage? No gun shots? How civilized things were back then.

You can tell he's a logger by the cut cuffs on his pants. Also usually a small cut on the seam.
