Thanks! I kept the 41 front clip and sold the 46 clip with the 41 body...swapping the rust free 46 body and selling the tore up 41 body with all the 46 stuff ended up costing me less than $300 for the 46 body, doors and deck lid!
The other day an old timer maybe in his 80's came up to me and I was ready to talk about this and that and he said what year is this? I replied a 41...he replied no it's not! I was tripping out thinking he new it was a 46 body! Turns out he said my grille was not 41 correct and that i got taken! I couldn't even reply when he stormed off! He said the there shouldn't be a small hole in bottom of the grille...really? Lol

Should have told him it was a cost saving option without a starter but had a crank and was very rare

  8. They are hella branded blinkers, part number 2139. They were on the car when I brought it and I plan on leaving them on at this stage.

  9. A picture of my 46 with how it will look with steel wheels and caps, thanks to the moose.

    Love your car...
Did you modify something to make your hood open that far? Mine doesn't open near that far

    1462135138439.jpg sorry about the charger

  15. Hey Redzula thanks for your comments, however nothing has been done at all that I can see to the hinges, I think it is just the angle I have taken that picture on. I will double check it against my mates same model but in a convertible and let you know.

Great looking 41! I saw in another thread you were contemplating 710's or 670's...what tire did you go with?

I went with the 710s in the end. There's a tiny bit of rubbing on the front on full lock, but not enough to worry about.

One of my favorite 41's TONYVAN.
Do you know what bumper brackets were used to mount your 49 Plymouth Bumpers.
Wsa it the Plymouth brackets or the 41 Ford.
    Thanks.
