Hi, my name is Joe Phillips of Joe Phillips Restoration wanting to let all of the Ford COE people know Tha I am able to reproduce 1939/40 COE grill shells. You can contact me at joephillipsrestoration@gmail.com. Thank you.
I am looking for the following parts for a 48-50 Ford COE: Hood at least one fin from the front grill... I'm sure there will be loads of other parts that I'll need as I'm just getting started. I'm going to attempt to use the original running gear / axles since this truck has only 6,525 original miles. It was once a fire truck for a state hospital ... and as you can imagine, how many fires take place at a state hospital...? Wish me luck.
Anyone got any spare grill stainless trim for a 41 Ford that's in nice shape? I could use 2 pieces of any slat to make into the 2 inner ones. Mine are OK after my amateur straigtening and polishing, but if someone had non smashed ones they'd be willing to give up that would be great.
Not mine, but $12,500 seems like an OK deal....for a '37 Cornbinder http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/cto/5558228803.html
Looks really solid.. I think the price might be a bit high, but hell, you gotta start somewhere... http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/5656878858.html
Anybody catch that eBay auction in the last week of the crew cab 55 COE that seemed to be set on a school bus ch***is - Dayton style rollers? A buddy tipped me off to it and it got me rowled up a bit. Will see if I can drum up the link to the ended auction
Not a crazy price for what appears could be a solid 1940 Ford COE. https://stcloud.craigslist.org/cto/5698827552.html
Hi guys, I am new to the forum and love to see things about Coe trucks. I am currently building a 1950 for Coe and I am looking for cab corners. Can anyone help me out? It looks to me that 50 ford pickup corners would work, am I correct in thinking that?
No, the cab corners are not exactly the same......but they can be modified to work. For me it was simpler just to make my own from scratch. The repop ones **** anyway.
