Well like usual I cant leave anything alone. ... so the old sedan got torn down again to address a few flaws that wouldn't let me sleep. I changed the junk trans out for a 48 Ford 3 on the tree trans, in turn I had to shorten a torque tube and driveshaft. Had to change the column and modify shift linkage. Put a new walker radiator and new fan set up. also put steel floors and a back seat in the car. Oh and full exhaust with mufflers. Just got back from a 500 mile round trip with my dad and buddy T&A Flathead. Did great. Here's some pics. PS the 46 is next!

  14. Looks great man! Love it! I didn't realize you put a 3 speed back in it? I thought you were going T-5? But then again, I can't keep up with all your changes, ha!

Haha! Thanks man! Yeah I have a problem for sure! Went with column shift with 3.78s Tim and I ran between 70-75 mph the whole trip!

Great job! Glad to see an update. I have a serious lust for Tim's sedan. Tried to get him to sell it to me before I moved to Scottsdale.

I love where you ended up. It looks great with fenders and even better hauling your family. Nothing better than enjoying your passion with the family.

Doing a little more work for summer drives.... clutch replacement, new firewall, cowl panels and a new wiring harness. Changing from stock gas tank to saddle tanks and a dash change. Hopefully back driving again soon!! [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Well I got a hand me down from my dad. His new meds don't allow him to be in direct sunlight for an amount of time so he asked if I wanted to trade bodies... so here is what I have now. Got it running yesterday. I replaced his VDO gauges with a 40 cluster from Classic Instruments. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

I will but I'll have to modify the firewall to get them to fit. So when I repaint the car I'll get them fitted!!
