Started the tuck n roll for the door panel. Got that far and remembered that I didn't glue the backing on the foam... ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464287482.180210.jpg

So I ended up relieving the corners of the rear window and pushed up the center about 3/4 of an inch. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464487070.970071.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464487119.690400.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464487159.951790.jpg
So I may luck out and not have to cut out the opening if I can make it stay up. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464487550.373007.jpg

Got the corners welded and got the inner braces reinstalled. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464562602.513150.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464562622.698270.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464562640.266265.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464562687.983329.jpg
With the prop rod out, the roof seemed to stay and it looks like the window is going to fit!!!

Got the other windshield post welded and decided to test fit the dash. Hasn't been in the car in over ten years. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464746272.273370.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464746282.872480.jpg

  13. Glad the rear window worked out with just those relief cuts. A lesson for me to remember....try something easy first before panicking and doing something drastic. [emoji6]

I'm pretty happy that it worked. I was about to cut it out when I thought just try it.

Can't believe it's almost 10 years since I chopped it. Maybe it will be drivable by thanksgiving. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1464750481.454375.jpg

Just got home with this last night! Long trip but worth it. A 80's Worth 140 bend-o-matic exhaust bender. It's going to be fun to do the exhaust in the merc and the 59.

  25. The Pontiac needs exhaust (and short dumps like your pickup)...

Got to get a seal in the main cylinder to stop the leak and I will be bending. Tried it last night and it works good!

I got the top cylinder resealed, installed a new power cord, Bonneville decals placed.

And the merc is back on the lift for exhaust.

Got the passenger side exhaust ran. Rebuilt the hanger and got it ran so it will exit through the bumper.
