Ha Ha, partly. Partly putting it out there so I can get use to the idea of letting it go. And partly thinking ahead of the game. My wife and I have been entertaining the idea of moving to a different place to better suit the needs of our daughter. Currently our house will need major modifications made to make it wheel chair ***essable and it will most likely be easier to move. If and when we decide its time to move, it might be less over whelming with less stuff if that makes sense. And like i said in the previous post, this is really the first time I have been content with a project and not lusting for the next one. I'm usually bad with parts. I get one part and want to build a car around it…maybe you can relate? So part of me wants to get rid of the temptation.

I know exactly what you're saying. My dad use to say "walk through the woods like you were never there". As for me, it would look like a freaking tornado came through. Good luck on all fronts.

I absolutely understand! I'm still on my first ever project but I've already owned a Model A Sport Coupe body and a Model T pick up bed then I still own a Model A ch***is, a Model T Touring body, and the first Model A Sport Coupe (Coupster) body I started with. That's not counting all the wheels, axles, wishbones, springs, etc, etc from over the years. But you're putting your family first and that's what makes a man genuine. I applaud you for that!

So I have been tinkering on the tub some this past week. A friend hooked me up with a 32 p***enger sector housing so I could install my 34 box… and was pleasantly surprised when everything lined up! Added 2 more knobs to the dash and switched my starter ****on for an indicator light… and then rolled it outside to see how the wheel location and the stance

Lots of decisions to make and that's part of the road we travel. Thinking of your children comes first and having a project you want to finish makes it an easy decision to let the spares go. There will always be more parts in the future. I am 75 and been through countless cars and spare parts but always considered the family's needs first. Good luck!

I sometimes wonder if I would have had a finished car if I only had one at a time rather that 3-4 nonrunning projects at a time. At 65 it is a bit late to finish one, but the hobby isn't all about driving the things. Bob

Not to much going on over here on the tub. Been actually working hard to clean out the garage to make some space... I aware this has been an ongoing never ending process. Did roll the tub out to get a feel for what roadster weather is like...[IMG]

I'm sure hoping the tub stays in my possession for a very long time. I have alot of family parts on it that have a ton of sentimental meaning to them. My spare frame and a pile of parts for it, is offically up for sale though.
