26/27 T Roadsters On Model A Frames Photo Thread

Here's my 26 an a 32 frame

I have a 31 dodge frame and a 27 roadster body. the frame is too wide and i have thought about modifying the frame, which means that the front end would have to be replaced with something else. i cannot find wheel studs for it either.

 

here was my old roadster on a A frame, it was z'd in th rear 5"

I have zeed a 28 chassis as per Vern Tarddells How To Build a hot rod and the holes in the rear 26 / 27 turtle deck lined up perfect with the Model A holes in the rear cross member. Just had to cut the sub frame on the inside and trim the Model A cross member to drop it over the cross member.

 

I am ... patience son.

When I get home this weekend I should have enough parts to mock mine up in the shed. If the wife doesn't kill me first. Ha

 

Heres mine under construction, the body is channeled a couple inches i guess.

In the interest of bumping this, here's a great pic from @Bugsy showing the trunk area of his 26/27 roadster and where it sits in relation to the frame.

I'd love to see more 26/27 roadsters on A chassis.

Bringing this back up, anyone got any good pics to share? trying to decide on channeled or not for one im gathering up parts for.

 

Here's mine, a '26 RPU body but with a modified earlier turtle deck. Not the best pics but all I've got for now. I like it non-channeled, T's are small enough anyway and any extra height inside the car and visually outside I think helps, although I've seen some channeled ones that looked great too.

 

Rolled mine out to blow the dust off it yesterday..
Is it still a project if nothing ever gets done?

 

I did go through the brakes front and rear, drilled the backing plates and new king pins in
