That's it! That's all I have. I hope you enjoyed them. Feel free to copy & share etc. This is the Internet, I have no illusions that people won't copy them and share them.

Bob - great set of pictures, the colors are really sharp.

One little 'nit' to pick; your Dad's Chevy is a 1951, not a '52

That nit pick is Okay, to be honest I was torn between the two years and I just wasn't sure. Thanks for the clarification :)

If I have my bearings correct the white building on the right is now blue and has excellent food. We eat there at least once a year. Thanks for some great pictures!

EDIT: Above is George Reeves and Toni Mannix

My Uncle Theron and Aunt Mable had a 56 Mark II, cream colored, purchased new. They traveled across the US and Mexico in it. I can still smell the leather and her perfume.

Among other things, he owned "Boket Ice Cream"(spelling?) in Flint MI, which produced the first of the "shotgun" ice creams - the one that has bits of every flavor in the same scoop.

He used 50s Ford Sedan Deliveries - I thoght those things were so cool (still do).

  19. Well, here's the deal see: I really like the Flint Michigan I knew as a kid, when the old man would load us all up and curse & tailgate the entire way to my Aunt & Uncles place. First restaurant, first shopping center, first coney dog......

  21. hahah! Yeah, and that cream color sure has darkened over the years too!

EDIT: Oh wait - I think I misunderstood. Yes, definitely IS George Reeves, and definitely IS NOT my uncle & aunt.

    My bad!!!

  22. God that's a good looking woman!

And I don't know what it is - the color, the angle, but that Edsel looks damned fine too!

Hell, if they ALL looked liked that, I'd stand in line to buy one today!
