If I remember the show that character did have a early Ford Hi boy, but this car is or was contemporary for the time it seems, the mirror windshield pin stripes the cars color etc.

 

I was going to suggest that one. Lots of hot rod material. Even in '58 a deuce coupe was a big deal

 

Thats what I thought too but you know the movies sometime so it possibly could have been in the show only showing certain angles of the car I guess???

 

A useless aside on Bob Cummings. I hung out at and also worked at Oakland-Pontiac Airport in Waterford MI.

A feller there had a Molt Taylor Aerocar, and was such a Bob Cummings fan, he bought a twin-engined plane that Cummings once owned. I cannot remember what breed it was, only that the interior was a moldering, decomposing mess and that the mechanic/pilot must've got paid big bucks to doctor the engines good enough to make the flight.

I would rather that I had met Julie Newmar and was talking about her!
