Fast and the Furious 1955, They filmed around an actual race that was going on at the time.

Dang Lebowski, You must of already had your own private collection of photos, are all of them cars that actually played a major part in movies and shows or are some of them only cars that were spotted in old movies and shows?
I could go on endlessly with cars that were only spotted, and cars with hub caps flying off then reappearing in the next scene etc.........spotting that stuff and identifying year make and model of the old cars was kind of a hobby with me and my dad while watching a movie when I was a kid:D

Marvin Kaplan describes a bit of his experience during the making of Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Nearly as entertaining as the movie itself... ;)

I still remember where I was when I saw this episode when I was a kid...

Also, a couple years ago I had the good fortune to have airing of Adam-12 line up with my home schedule, so I got to see many reruns. Loved the show as a kid. I found it challenging to enjoy the stories once again because as Reed & McCoy(sp?) were out on patrol in their cruiser I was watching the curbs, parking lots and roadways for cool cars.
