Last year when Earl and I were in Pueblo for the NSRA Rocky Mountain Nats we met Neal East - real nice guy who is still into cars big time. We talked briefly about his famous roadster and we will try and get a pic with him to post here while at the Nats this year ....

Al and friends, I really enjoyed your lively well documented trip preparations and your posts during your trip out to the show. The week in California was well covered and fun to follow also. You all must be plum tuckered out by now as the trip home reports have been kind of lacking. I am hoping for a few posts that reflect on this epic journey.

 

We took some pictures to share but have been driving long days and too pooped to participate.
We are 20 mi from Va border; staying in TN.
We will be home sometime tomorrow ... we hope!
Scout and Joe are trailing us because Scout thought should hide our tracks on the trail. Not sure why.
I'm sure they found one or more interesting things along the trail.

George and Randy continue to find things to fix on the car. [emoji54]
Today it was plug wires and a header gasket.
George said met some good folks.
George and Randy are between us and Scout.
Tomorrow is another day.
Next year, 3WLarry leads folks west and I stay home and read posts![emoji6]
