  1. Got the original title, owners manual and a Factory manual from the original owner when I bought my '53 Desoto. Hemi, 3 speed w/OD.

What year is your Chevy II, Squirrel? I have 6 HAMB-friendly ORIGINAL owner's manuals available for $10 each plus $5 shipping (via Paypal) except the Edsel one has some ancient tape in it so it's only $5. The Dodge one looks almost new. PM me if you're interested....

  4. Joe, the '54 manual is so small, the way I had to modify the glove compartment for the in dash air there is just enough room for the manual, the registration card and proof of insurance, and a comb or a tube of chap stick.:D HRP

Got an original and a copy of one for my '31. OTOH, there's not all that much "A" left in my hot rod besides the chopped body and boxed frame.

I understand HRP, I installed an aftermarket Air system in my buddy's 55 Bel Air and the replacement glove box was easily half the size of the original. Joe

I have all the original paperwork from when my 64 Biscayne was purchased in November of 1963. Including the owners manual and sales documentation. To this date the car has only 35K miles and is in showroom condition after being stored over 46 years. BTW, that is the original paint.

You name it, I have it. Owners manual, transmission manual, sunvisor starting instruction slip for the Hydramatic, warranty and service cards, service bulletins etc. No title but have a copy for display, no titles down here. Lots of NOS factory GM literature and the like; How to maintain your trim, dealer promotions and advertising. Has taken a while to track them down and collect.

Our first venture into classic car world with a restored 1951 Buick Roadmaster (pics in my albums) came w/ what appears to be original owners manual and other paperwork. My wife loves this car and is enjoying driving/showing it, Now she gets "IT". Like every car you buy, it's been a project to fix problems to make it a reliable driver, I/We drive them...

Well, I have the original ones for my 56 Ford and my 58 Chevy pu, but no longer carry them in the glovebox of the Ford after finding out that my windshield leaks alot when it rains dumping water in the glovebox. That reminds me that I need to fix that problem...

Jimmy six, the car is no longer stock. Several mechanical upgrades have been done. The appearance remains unchanged.

Bruce, I'm a big fan of wagons. Sold my 62 Impala wagon and miss it. I'll probably sell the Biscayne as well.

I have to get one for every vehicle if it did not come with one but I do not know why I do it since I never look at them after putting them in the glove box.

HRP, you got me, too. But under $25 for an original from the AACA library. Now I've got to put a glove box in the '32.
