Mancini's Motors, showroom building originally from the 1939-40 Golden Gate International Exposition, Chrysler Exhibit in San Francisco.

Building and tower was moved to El Camino Real and Castro Street in Mountain View, stood until it was demolished in the early 70's.

.... well yes, one can laugh now, but Greg in the white T-shirt, thought at the time, green hair would go over big at the school's St. Patty's day sock hop. But as is often the case, and who would of guessed otherwise, Wayne, aka 'Lite Foot" (seen here in the background) thought sporting his own 'green' slick creation would be the cat's meow. Reportedly it turned out to be the first slick 'hair-net look' ever, but also sporting curlers. Predating the 60's brothers look by some 15-years. Needless to say it caught everyone off guard just a bit and Wayne was escorted out of the dance by Ol Assistant Principle Mr. Harry ' Thumbs ' Carter.

Crazy... the Japanese still used similar 3-color systems on their trucks and commercial vehicles when I was stationed there in the mid-1980's! But the Jetson's housing was long gone. Gary
