Today would have been my Mom's 89th birthday. Happy Birthday, Mom!

Happy Forth of July to everyone! Please take a moment to remember those who gave us the privilege to do what we love and enjoy the freedoms we have.

Happy 4th to all of my fellow Americans. If it weren't for those brave men and women who fought for our independence then we might all be speaking English right now....

Love the story on The Corsair. My father worked for Vought in the engineering department during WW2 . He did a lot of design work on the Cutl*** and retired from there in 1971.
This gave me a look at what my father did in the war effort, Thanks a Million Frank

My pleasure. Uhh... my name is Fred. But, Franklin is middle name, so all is good. I'm glad you enjoyed it. My dad was Air Force. He was a Master Sergeant attached to SAC. He was grooming my brother and I for service and I grew up putting together model airplanes and cars. The Corsair was and still is, my favorite plane. I've had people ask why I'm into cars and I tell 'em it's because planes cost too much.:D
