Not too many pictures of that one. It's my daily beater, and my first car. MY dad and I built it together when I was in high school. It's a '40 standard coupe. There may be a picture of it in my albums?

Yup. I just recently bought it. It's a rough driver but a good starting point. [IMG]

  10. Nice! That's a good looking car, can't wait to see what you do with it!

  11. Sorry i haven't been on here lately, been a really busy past couple of weeks, including working on my coupe a lot.

We found some 1953-1960 Austin Healey hinges to use on my coupe. They fit perfectly!

You need to provide some way for steam and pressure to escape your overflow bottle. That is a real neat touch! But the way you have it, there isn't any way for air and steam to vent out ..... In case of an overflow.

  15. Thank you! Actually it can't build pressure because the tube doesn't fit tightly in the cork.

  16. Thank you sir! I'm pretty stoked on them.

  17. The car is torn apart. I've been sandblasting, blocking, and painting all of my parts. Within the next two weeks I'm going to try and have a done rolling chassis, with the drive line, and engine in it.

Looks great. Are running a hood? Thought the headers come out over the frame. That deck lid is sweet.

Wow! Makes me want to throw my tools back in the box. Did you take any pics of how you mounted the emergency brake handle by chance?

  27. You can get them at McMaster car! They're single flared. Thanks Eric!!

  28. Thank you! I got my cowl side patch panels from Brattons Antique Auto Parts, they make the panels 8 inches tall all the other dealers make them 6 inches.

  29. Haha thank you very much! I actually did not, sorry about that but it just mounts to 2 studs on the K member.

  30. Started painting all the parts on the car, here's the ford 9 inch rear end
