Was in Space Age just last week to have them match the colors on the 40's glove box and put it up in rattle cans. They have so much good sh** on their shelves that it's fun to just browse and look for surprises.

Some neat antique store finds from a big bowl of matches.

Can go here for old aerial views. http://www.historicaerials.com/ Sometimes hard without addresses, many intersections had multiple stations. The later Blakelys seemed to incorporate Vs into the canopies though.

Funny enough, here it is next to a somewhat familiar local 'bucket at a Southwest Nostalgia Drags a couple of years ago...

Wow, that's awesome! Said in the article that the owner specializes in Jimmy blowers. Looks like he was a GMC truck mechanic according to the phonebook.

    Landseaandair ...
Great photos, thanks for sharing. I'm a motorsports artist with a focus on 1960's American racing. mainly S/S-F/X racing. Your snapshots/photos #28 of the Ashley Chevy and #27 below it (looks like a Camet or Falcon) are of great interest. Any chance of getting high resolution copies of them and any other S/S-F/X pictures that you have? Anything of Frank Sanders and his 409 Chevys and Z11 Rudolph Chevrolet cars? Just looking to expand my research files, not make copies and sell etc. Personal use only. Thanks.

Sorry not my pics. Belong to J.R. Bloom of Cottonwood Az. Haven't seen him in a while but he would sell copies of his images if you can get a hold of him.

Hey Jeff, sorry it took a bit to get back to you. I don't have an address, but Space Age is located on Country Club, south of Broadway a bit, on the east side of the road in Mesa-what-a-place-a. Man, if you have never been there, it's like a toy store for automotive refinishing stuff!

I'm not even close to being a body man, but I go to Space Age alot, even just to look around. But I feel guilty when I do that, so I usually buy something. I've got enough sleeves of OOOO steel wool and sanding sponges to last the rest of my life. But I really love those folks for putting up any paint in aerosol cans for touch up ur painting accessories.

Not sure if you are aware of not Matt, but Burger Rush is done.... Thus ends another chapter in the revitalization of the city's cruising icon.... Tomorrow night I think we are gonna meet at 5 and Diner about sunset.

Just got this in the mail. Did o.k. selling a couple things on Ebay and felt like splurging a little. Probably could have got a Rodder's Journal subscription for what I paid.

You can see it all for free!
