  10. Back in the early 70s a customer brought a old Studebaker show car into my shop for some work.
He had a little pages magazine with pictures of it .
I think it started as a Hawk, was shortened to make a two seater, doors were filled in,.had to climb in such as a t-bucket. was white same as in the magazine. It had a early Hemi with two fours and a push button trans. The customer passed away quite a few years back. I often wonder what happened to this car.
Does anyone remember or have any info? Thanks

Moriarity - I'll say it again -- your posts are exposing a lot of us to a breadth and depth of kustom expression that we'd never encountered before. There are the kustoms that all of us are familiar with from "the good old days". But this thread is giving a bigger insight into what people were building back in the day. Thank you.

  28. I've been enjoying this thread since Straykat started it, but I don't have a whole lot of my own pictures to add.
However, a few days ago I found this one while searching the internet. I don't recall ever seeing it before. I thought I'd share it to see if anyone knows anything about it like who the owner was (is), where it was built and when. Love to see more photos of it too.........E

I'd like to know more about that one as well. I'd like to see more of that rear window....
