New member SW Washington

I have been enjoying this site for quite some time and would like to learn how to post some of my old photos, most of which are drag racing related from the late 60's and early 70's around WA state and the Winternationals in Pomona. I need to share them with someone. I am gainfully retired and each day starts with the HAMB. I really love the posts in Vintage Shots, especially those by Maggie, plus anything related to the early years of racing. I am admittedly not a "traditional hot rod" kind of guy but look at all car show photos posted and do admire and respect the workmanship that goes into such vehicles. I am more of a an originality kind of gearhead. My user name is from my many years working in the hydraulics industry and not related to anything automotive. I am borderline on the vehicle age limit for this site but I believe my 62 Impala qualifies. My other ride is a 66 Malibu and I have a 66 Chevy 2 project. Being computer challenged I am a bit concerned about getting this on the site but will give it my best shot. I have learned a lot and have had a great time looking in from the outside on this site and thanks to all who contribute. Gerry Archibald, near Longview, WA.
