Projects 1931 Model A Coupe Y-Block Build (Father&Son)

    Thanks for the update, ( I know I cant be the only one that checks this thread daily:):):)) things are coming together nicely !!! Cant wait to the finished product. ( really like the red quick-change in the background )

    Love your set up. I've had a Y-block Thunderbird in my "A" roadster from the time I built it in 1959 all the way to now,wouldn't have it any other way.

  16. Haha thank you! I need to get back to updating it daily, the car is much further along now. I need to get my thread up to date. The quick change is actually for a customer of my dads, it's a pretty one!

  18. For the primer I'm using Summit Racings Grey Epoxy primer. It's not very expensive (can't remember the price) but it's great, not watery at all like some others. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1473519733.624263.jpg

    And here's what I used for the filler primer

    The previous owner cut out the gas tank so we welded it in to fill the gap

    Dodge? I recall some early mopars having a similar opening. Glad your back to updating I keep seeing your progress on Instagram and wanting more detailed photos/ info but figured I'd hit wait till you posted it all here.
