  4. You install a "program" on your computer
You install an "app (application)" on your phone
    It's the same thing.

When you are on your computer looking around online, say you are on HAMB, then you are using the "program" that your computer is using to browse the internet, like Firefox or Internet Explorer. In that situation HAMB is just a website being manipulated by your computer program. On smart phones/tablets you can use the "HAMB" application which is it's own thing, it's a lot like facebook, just cooler with less pictures of food.

If you're just joking, then disregard this.

I had to delete the app on my iphone 5s and reinstall last week. No issues now. I like the desktop site as it is able to show more information. But I love the app and it is the easiest way to post pictures. Keep up the good work Ryan.

I don't use the app, I just bookmark the site. I don't have enough time left in my life to try to figure out how to use it.

  11. So lately and not all the time (on my phone app) I can only scroll down so far on the main page and it just won't go any further, then other times I can keep scrolling down as far as I want.

Yeah, that b0rked it. You have to delete and reinstall it to get it working again.

Delete and reinstall. That fixes it.

    Thanks David

  16. Thanks Clunker, for the clear explanation. I have asked people this simple question a few times and everyone looks at you like you are from Neptune, then they explain it in computer talk, which I don't comprende.
I think Iwill stick to my found-on -the- side- of- the- road computer.

App seems to work on the phone but I can never remember my password to log in on the phone as the laptop has logged me in automatically for years.

If you can log in, the reinstalled app is working. If I recall correctly, you see ads if you're not an Alliance member. Your profile says you're a member, though. So I don't know what's up there. I'm not seeing ads here.

The ad's didn't begin until the mobile app upgraded it self. That is the only problem that I have with it.

I like it because I can post from my phone and I don't have to load them on my computer. Saves a step.
