    It was Kens. he sold most of his cars to Morries car collection a few weeks back

    Got to see Larry Purcell's "Low Lid" 41 Ford. It's been along time since I've seen it, first time was at the first lead sled spectacular. Still has original paint.

    Larry`s 41 was one of my all time favorites back then. I`ve been told it had been changed drastically. I never wanted to believe it. Then I read an article by Gahnal it was still in the same original version. Also, In Salina this year I was told it has a new owner.

    The black flame. I saw it at the 89 Kkoa show in Davenport in unrestored condition. It was pretty rough back then. It was for sale on Craigslist in the last few years in real bad shape. Wonder what happened to it[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Marc, those tail lights look fantastic! What are they from?

    yeah, it had lees before. they don't show up very well being kinda semi opaque... these are 61 pontiac

    '61 Star Chiefs to be precise, versus Catalina, which were horizontal oblong lenses.

    yup, and I had to chuck em in the lathe and cut down the OD a little at the base to get em to fit

    Thanks Roger. I got a friend in the Denver area that is always coming up with cool 4 doors and making them "nice" again and wasn't sure if it was Toms.
