This was a really fast Ford. The Raser bros. raced at Cecil County a lot.

 

Was this the Joe Lunati car that when the N.H.R.A. techs guy's checked the stroke on it they found it had been stroked on one side of the engine?

That would be a good trick. I would like to see the crank grinder who did that.

 

Even the guy that balanced it!!!!!

 

Something like this would affect timing a lot. TDC and so on. I can't see any real reason for this. If this is true, sounds like one of the inspectors's math was off a tad. Tavern talk ?
