Mr.Mayor, I am so sorry to inform you that we will not be able to support you in your cause. The majority of our cons***uents had previously held a meeting to move forward with plans to demolish the old dilapidated structure and push through advancements to alter the existing design into the modern future. Please know that we respect your intended goals but we voted in favor of our best concerns. Lol
Dennis back when I was receiving loads of flack that this build would be a mistake... I cut off the cowl and other bits to keep myself from taking the cowardly road and following the yellow belly *******s that hounded my trail. I discarded some of these items including the old window parts to ***ist me in my week convictions. Damn I would like to help.

These things are too cool for school!

They will need a taper adjustment but that's no biggie. This is a cl***ic HAMB solved problem that seems to work out for the better. Thanks @dumprat

Light progress but not much photo worthy. Ordered 48" of stainless 3/4" bar stock to make tie rod.
Picked up mol***es today for the de-rustation purposes.
Raised the front of the body 3/4" to better match the belt line. But now the cowl may need that 3w bevel I don't care for. Still measuring and staring.
It's a shame the rear of the car needs to come up. It hard lift stuff up when you see it down first. It doesn't seem like a lot of rake. My calculations currently are that the belt line will raise about six inches from front to back, discarding the rear curve and back of the body where it goes up from running straight down the length of the car.
Went with chrome front SoCal short shocks. I'll dull these down like I did to the generator cover. Had to have those cl***ic flared covers.
And I've wanted a spare set of 15" 5 on 5.5s for mounting slicks on Runnin Shine. Just gotta go to the HAMB Drags. Well the Great Tony Martino and I worked out a deal for a pair he had in the cl***ified. I'm going to use them and their 30" tires temporarily on HH since these 6.00s are to small. I'll save up and make the best decision for getting a new set for the intended 16" rears while the build moves along.

Piddling around with bits and pieces getting ready to start some de-rustation. I needed one of the wire shields that go on the back of the tail lights to paint with the other side. I had to cut the frozen bolts off a 32 light, mount, and license bracket to steal. Before putting away the cutoff wheel stuff I tripped over my water pumps for the last time.
Cut the ears off both and smoothed them out. I'm using the tabs as part of the 32 style front motor mounts I'm making. So this was a two part progress. Don't fret I am pretty sure I can fight the chrome plating virus and just paint these with the engine.[emoji6]

Are you talking about the windshield regulator I pointed out or the grill bezel I am giving to you?

Looking good man, thought of you this morning as I got my hour in before work. For some reason it wasn't giving me notifications of your updates.

Tim you haven't missed much. Waiting on stainless stock for push bar, chrome front shocks, flywheel, another set of Packard wires, NOS oil canister lid(to get plated), and the time to build a 4'x5' tank to soak the rusty body parts in.
I did get the stainless for the tie rod and NOS black 36 tail light trim rings. I've been going over the lights and the brackets I made. Dug out the license plate bracket tonight to plan out it mounting above the spreader and behind the push bar but still below the louvers.
I'll get to the body soon and work on other stuff during the week or two while panels soak. Unfortunately I have to modify my rear C-notch. I screwed up, this is why I didn't final paint the frame.
If I need any parts they'll have to wait. After buying the Weber Tool Co flywheel the Mrs. cut me off for a month.[emoji30]

I don't know if I'll use these Packard s cause I really love my Wiry Joe set. But I just had to have these.

Don't have the lower shock bolts yet but it doesn't hurt to pretend. And only crazy people like me remove shiny stuff from the fresh packaging and promptly scratch it all up on purpose.
