Check his avatar and the step in the rear. Not very traditional. Very unusual engine placement. Time will tell.
The rear end is just sitting there, wanted to get it up off the shop floor, ride height hasn't been set yet, it will be lower but not on the ground, no air ride
drivinford, this is some quality work your doing. don't let the naysayers run you off. most of them cant even run a welder. but they sure can run a debit card. nothing about this car says ratrod, so its got a zed frame and a raised engine? im sure NOBODY did that in the 50s . if you don't like his car don't look at it. go back to what ever rock you crawled out of. nice work please continue
keep up the thread. enjoying following the build. Limiters of ideas and imagination are a drag. Hot rodders back in the day pissed off the stick in the mud folks. fast forward to today and rat rodders piss of the former young hot rodders from back in the day
Really, you should push the whole thing outside for a year or so and let her rust up real good then it would make a nice rat. Cool car, nice work thanks for posting.....the ones that can do. EDIT. I just noticed the tread is tagged "Featured". Nice rat.
