Projects 32 Ford 3 window FIND

Well would you believe me if I told you it is a model A?

 

Yeah I figured it out after I posted. I didn't recognize it as the same car with the 32 shell.

 

It is a very cool hot rod for sure. The Bones done so dam many body mods to it you will have to go to their face book or web page and check it out.
To me it is the best dam model A "EVER" to be hot rodded.........

 

Des Moines GG's show was great as always. So many nice hot rods and customs you just could not see them all. (but I tried to)
If you have never been to this event you need to add it to your list of things to do. It is one of the best in the mid-west for sure.
Talked to many friends I seem to only run into at this show. Was great to see everyone...see ya all next year.
Next it is off to the KKOA nats in Kansas and then off to Bonneville for speed week.

Saw Dennis and the 3-window at Des Moines GG on July 2. Dennis patiently answered my many questions. Lots of 32's and a few great ones, but his was the best.

 

A big THANK"S to ya for liking the 3 window figure8. It was great meeting ya and talking hot rods. Hope to see you some where on the road....Keep the wheels turning and the gas to the floor.

 

Been trashing on the 3 window getting it ready for the KKOA show in Salina, Kansas and then on the 8th off to Bonneville for speed week.
Got some great news today as Roy Boy Productions will be at my shop the 8th to do a feature photo shoot of the 3 window...I won't say at this time what book it is for.

Thanks Dick Stevens....Only six more sleeps and I am off for Speed week. Can't hardly wait as it seems like it has been more than 2 years since we got to race at Bonneville.
Going to take my son-in-law with me this year. He is wound up tighter than a old clock about going.
Got to keep these young guys interested in these old hot rods and there is no better way than a trip to speed week in a 32 Ford with a old guy.

Well we are down to one more sleep and then off to Bonneville. Can't wait and will not get much sleep tonight I am sure.
Just wanted to remind everyone attending Bonneville this year to stop by the ROLLING BONES PIT AREA AND DONATE TO THE RON HICKMAN FUND. WE WILL HAVE A BUCKET IN THE PIT AND 100% OF THE $$$$ WILL GO TO RON AND HIS GRAND DAUGHTERS TO HELP COVER MEDICAL BILLS.

Such a great read! the story, the history and the build!

 

Back home from Bville and the whole trip plus time spent on the salt was a total blast. The SCTA done a hell of a job getting the salt ready for the racers. I will have to get big deuce to post some photos for me of the trip.
For anyone not having every made it out Bonneville you need to put this at the top of your bucket list as there is nothing like it.

 

Just bought my ticket to attend the TROG races on the west coast in Oct. Can't wait for this to start.

 

Great story and build. Just the kind of inspiration I've been looking for.
